Covid-19 Safety Protocol and Festival procedures 

University Area CDC COVID-19 Event Procedures

  • For outdoor events we ask that you just follow the most current CDC guidelines for outdoor events at the time of the event.
  • Currently, masks are not required for outdoor events unless there are high numbers of COVID cases. Right now there are, but will that be the case by the time your event takes place remains to be seen.
  • We should always post that masks are highly encouraged (however, not required) and that if you are sick or experiencing cold or flu like symptoms, stay home. 

FESTIVAL POLICIES

University Area CDC’s Uptown Music Festival is committed to providing a space that is safe, gratifying and positively memorable for all attendees. In order to make this possible, we have the following regulations in place to ensure that everyone is able to enjoy their experience.  We are asking that all attendees adhere to this code of conduct: 

*Be respectful. Hate speech, offensive language and/or gestures along with any excessively distracting behaviors will not be tolerated.

*Fighting, violence and the possession of firearms/weapons by individuals other than law enforcement will not be permitted.

*Uphold everyone’s inherent human dignity. 

*All children must be accompanied by an adult 18 or older at all times.

*Any illegal activities are still illegal on our premises and are subject to corrections.

*Most importantly, enjoy yourself! 

*Limit One Bag and One Chair Per Person

*No refunds or exchanges. No exceptions.

*Show is rain or shine. All ticket orders are final

*No coolers, outside beverages, food or open containers containing liquid

*No unauthorized/unlicensed vendors

*No unauthorized solicitations, handbills, sampling, giveaways, etc.

*No tailgating

*No smoking excepted designated smoking areas
